This animal is very sweet natured and easy to live with. Although they require regular exercise, they seem quite adaptable to city life. They are good as a family dog, but have a tendency to take off if allowed to.PURPOSE OF BREED:This breed?s direct ancestors have been working with the natives of the Soviet Arctic some 3000 years. Their primary purpose was to serve as a lightweight sled dog that could pull a sled long distances quickly with little need for rest or food.AVERAGE LITTER SIZE:4-6 puppies

Grooming:

The Siberian Husky has a double coat. The topcoat is moderately short, soft and smooth. The undercoat is soft, dense and downy. Occasional brushing is required to help shed the dead hair. All colors and white are seen in this breed. Siberian Huskies frequently have cap-like masks and spectacle markings on their faces.
