Double coated with profuse, dense outer coat. Their outer coat texture feels silky and is rather wavy, while its undercoat is warm and wooly. Ongoing professional grooming will be required throughout its life. Colors are black, gold, parti-colored (white and any other acceptable spaniel color), Black or Liver and tan, tri-colored (Black /tan/white or liver/tan/white), or roan .
