He's all that and a bag of chips...
Hermie, short for Hermosa, which means handsome in Spanish, is a playful, stout, and gorgeous Bully Pit. That is a new 'fad breed' that combines breeds including American Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, and Mastiff.
Hermie's life hasn't always been a good one. He was rescued from the Hobbs, NM Animal Shelter by Amanda with Dogs Deserve Better. At one time he has lived on a chain and that chain had grown into his neck because he has a visible embedded chain scar on the topside of his neck.
But Hermie is a lover and he is truly grateful for second chances. He is VERY active and needs someone who hikes on a regular basis and also goes for daily runs or bikes rides. Playing with stuffed animals or other dog toys is Hermie's favorite pastime. He would also be a candidate for someone who would like to get a dog involved in agility or weight-pulling. He needs a job.
Please consider opening up your heart to Hermie. He is waiting for you.
So you want to adopt but live out of the area:If you live outside of Hobbs, NM, please still consider adopting these pets. We work alongside with transport coordinators who will help us arrange a transport to get your potential pet to your home. We also have an airport within an hour and a half , and if you are willing to pay airfare, we could try to fly your pet to you.
A tax-deductible donation of $125 to 501c3 Dogs Deserve Better.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption (unless a courtesy listing). We DO NOT adopt dogs as 'outside' dogs only or 'chained' dogs!
