Believe it or not, this adorable little guy was abandoned at a local Vet's office because he had Heartworm. But Rocky, the little charmer, stole everyone's heart and so he was successfully treated for this easily preventable disease and he is now doing great.He still has a bit of a cough he gets when excited and he is taking some very inexpensive medication. The doctor believes he will do just fine with regular, non-strenuous exercise and a reduced-calorie diet.
Rock gets along with cats, children (the ones he has come across) and most dogs. Rock loves to be cuddled and he adores laps! Rock has lived in an apartment, which suits him just fine. He doesn't bark a lot, sleeps quietly in his crate, and has not been destructive. He's a good pal who is ready to slip right into your family and make himself at home.
