Please write down the corresponding ID number and have it with you when you call or come to our office. To obtain the ID number click on the pet's name. Individuals who adopt an animal from our shelter will sign an agreement at the time of adoption stating that they will have the animal spayed or neutered. The spaying/neutering and rabies vaccination fees are paid for at the time of adoption. A receipt will be issued to the individual which is to be presented to any Kansas City, Kansas veterinarian, who will perform the veterinary services for the fees indicated. In addition, many metropolitan area veterinarians will honor our receipts
