Gerdie is a very sweet two year old dog who is needing a new home due to health problems with her owner. This was not an easy decision, but I can tell you they had Gerdie's best interest at heart. On Saturday, Sept.13th, I took Gerdie to her new home. We had only shown her once, the week after her owners had come to me for help in finding a home for her. I put her on Petfinder that same week as our featured pet. The very next week I received a call from this sweet single mom with three very special girls that just knew this was the dog for them! That weekend Gerdie and I went to meet them. It was a very special meeting. It seems Gerdie's previous owner and new mom are both special education teachers, and Gerdie did not lack for any belly rubs from those three special girls, as you can see in the picture! Gerdir also seemed to bring out the playfulness in Bigun', the great dane you see in the other picture, who is also a rescue dog. Thank you to Tasha and her three little angels, as well as Petfinder, for helping us find yet another match made in Heaven!
