Fruita, Palisade, Debeque, and Colbran. Our combined population is apx. 135,000, with the majority of the population in the city of Grand Junction. Clifton, where the shelter is located, is a small bedroom community of Grand Junction.
Grand Junction is the only major city between Denver and Salt Lake City. We are about 250 miles west of Denver and the same east of Salt Lake City.
Interview with adoptor, adoption contract, spay-neuter contract states that if animal is not spayed or neutered at adoption, adopter will have 90 days to spay or neuter, must leave a $200.00 deposit. If not spayed or neutered in that time limit, animal must be returned to shelter.We do follow up calls to all adopters to make evaluate the adoption.
