LAYLAH'S STORY AS TOLD BY HER RESCUER:Laylah was found on a country road, most likely dumped as many are. She is between 2-3 years old, spayed, vaccinated and HW negative and on preventative. Laylah passed the temperament test which the local pound gives, mind you they do not like her breed, which tells me she did well. I feel that her interest in cats at this time is a bit too keen. She getsalong well with the dogs that I have introduced her to, one being a beagle. Laylah came out of the pound with a luxating patella, but she had a successfulsugery 3 weeks ago and requires a couple more weeks of strict crate rest and short walks. I already have 14 other dogs in this house, 10 of whichare bullies which is way too many. Laylah was completely unplanned, but I did not want her dying in the pound. Laylah is also deaf. I have taught her how to sit with sign language and she is a quick study for the most part, but is still a young dog and can be distracted rather quickly. This also may be due to the fact that I just do not have the time to devote to training that she needs. Laylah is not destructive and has proved to be trustworthy. She is also housetrained. I'm in desperate need of a foster or forever home for her where she can get the love and attention that she deserves.
