This is Shelby a female 5yr old beagle/fox terrier mix that is looking for a new home without small children. Her current owners were told she was good with children and they have found that Shelby does much better with older children. She is super sweet and loves adults. She is pretty good with other dogs. She originally come from a pack situation. Her current best friends are a fox terrier and a beagle. She is great with them. She loves to chase them and run around. She isnt much for toys but interacts with other dogs. She does get a little nippy when she has had enough, but never bites, just tells them she's had enough if they dont leave her alone. She is pretty good with the neighbors dog, an american bulldog, as well. She just needs time to get use to them. She is small for a beagle. She was abused by a previous owner and is a shy around new people but once she gets to know you she the best dog. She is really smart but a little stubborn. Typical girl! She isnt fully house trained yet, we have been working with her for almost a year on it but she still has accidents. She has some separation anxiety issues, but is getting better about that too. She just needs a trustworthy mommy and daddy to show her everything is going to be okay and she will be your friend forever. Shelby is UTD on shots, spayed and placed on Frontline. She weighs #20.
