I have a 19 lb mini dashhound. He has a sprained back. He is also constipated. I had picked him at the vet yesterday. He had spent the night there. They give me medicine to give him. An antiinflamatory med. and a ulcer medicine. He still hasn't gone poo. He is also dehydrated and had been running fever. Is there anything else that I could possibly do for him.

The lump you are seeing is most likely an umbilical hernia. It is caused by incomplete closure of the belly prior to birth and is usually quite harmless.
