Used as general purpose hunter in its native land, it was known as the ?yellow? pointer. In North America it has been mainly used as an upland game dog, who loves to retrieve on land and in water.The high energy needs of the Vizsla require daily workouts. Although an affectionate and intelligent breed they require ongoing training and socializing throughout their lives.
