This affectionate Spitz breed is highly regarded for its smiling face and beauty. They are unmistakably independent in mind, willful and stubborn. They have a wonder lust and must have a secure fenced area to run free. Samoyeds require a lot of daily exercise to keep them happy. They are very loving and loyal to their owners.PURPOSE OF BREED:This breed has its origins with the northern nomadic people known by the name ?Samoyedes.? As working dogs they were used to guard and drive the reindeer from one feeding ground to another. They also were used as draft animals to pull sleds. The fine hair from the undercoat of this dog was spun into yarn and used to make warm winter garments.AVERAGE LITTER SIZE:8 puppies
A Samoyed has a double coat with a coarse, free from curl, topcoat that stands away from the body. The undercoat is thick, close and downy soft. Its coat requires weekly grooming to keep it clean and mat-free. A Samoyed is a cream white color.
