This lively, loyal and intelligent breed requires daily exercise. English Springers are easy to train and have an innate drive to please, making them wonderful family dogs. They are prone to separation anxiety, so would best be suited to a home where they could be with someone all the time.PURPOSE OF BREED:The first Spaniels were used to spring game into nets, however with the invention of guns, they began to be used as flushing gun-dogs.AVERAGE LITTER SIZE:7 puppies
