This big dog on short legs has a defiant, stubborn, and willful temperament, that some people find endearing. In spite of their somewhat dower appearance they are generally good-natured and make a friendly, though occasionally obstinate family pet.PURPOSE OF BREED:This ancient brown terrier has changed little over the centuries, and is best known for its ability to seek out and kill fox.

Grooming: 

Border Terriers are double coated. The outer-coat is very wiry and broken up, their undercoat is short, soft and dense. Their red-grizzled or wheaten colored hair requires minimal grooming.
