I work at a prison and there are several stray cats that we feed. We have been able to trap some of them and have them spayed or neutered and found homes for them. There is one female that we have not been able to trap and she keeps having kittens. I have noticed that she seems to be blind in one eye. When she turns her head a certain way you can see that her eye reflects strangely. Is there a certain eye disorder that she could have developed, or could it be an injury? Also there is a large tomcat that seems to have a similar problem. His face seems swollen and his eyes are squinty and he doesn't appear to be able to see very well. Also do female cats go through menopause? Do they lose the ability to get pregnant at a certain age?
