You can give him vitamin E, but the best thing to do is to determine why his skin is dry. The most common supplements for dry skin are fish oils which contain omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids that your vet can recommend. If there is an underlying skin condition, your vet can determine what that is and can appropriately treat it too. Sometimes food allergy or skin parasites or other problems can result in flakey skin, so please have it checked out! Best of luck!
